What are the features of the Krav Maga as a self-defense system ??
-Its techniques are practical and easy to learn.
-Currently being used by police and military personnel in the world
We think these phrases are often used to explain Krav Maga, and they are correct.
On the other hand, Julian Littleton, former soldier of Israeli Defense Forces, who has been confronted with serious dangers through his missions, says
“Technique of Krav Maga itself can be variable, depending on the time or place, or background of instructor who teaches Krav Maga.
However, the philosophy of Krav Maga would never be variable.
That is “Mental strength of NEVER GIVE UP in any dangerous situation saves your life”.
Even if you learn a great skill of self-defense and try to use it under real threat, you may NOT be able to survive without the spirit of “Never give up”
As long as you decided to survive, your mental strength and toughness will save your life.
On April 20th, 2019, MagaGYM will hold a workshop focusing on developing “Mental Strength” by co-instruction of Julian Littleton and Takeshi Nishio.

**This workshop is going to be physically demanding. Yellow or upper belt holders are highly recommended to sign up. However, don’t hesitate to sign up even if you don’t hold any belt. Motivation to develop your mental strength and preparation to be exhausted are required!!
How to apply:
Please pay the participation fee at the reception of MagaGYM Roppongi or Akasaka.
As soon as the number reaches the capacity of 20, we will close registration.
What to train:
Military training under UNCOMFORTABLE positions or circumstances.
Just imagine you are under mounted position and both hands are tied, and you need to escape from this “Uncomfortable” position. You can NOT do it without mental strength.
Julian will prepare such scenarios in which your physical and mental strength will be tested. Those are, of course, training Julian actually experienced in his military life.
The purpose of this workshop is
– Develop your mental strength, as well as physical strength.
– To learn better attitude toward regular training at MagaGYM

Julian Guy Littleton
Born in South Africa in 1984.
He had served for the Israeli Defense Forces since he was 18.
He had taken part in many of high-risk missions. He is really a specialist for security.
From 2016 to 2018, he was engaged in as a technical training development manager for the presidential guard of other countries. He taught many security skills in other countries, including “The application of Krav Maga to law enforcement and security officers”.
